Martini style rifle. Steel barrel, mechanism and stockplate. Dark varnished wooden stock and forward grip. Silver and brass wire decoration on barrel. Numerous silver alloy barrel bands engraved with floral motifs. Steel ramrod with engraved silver tip. Ramrod has been snapped and is missing some of its length. Small black leather belt in place of original strap. Treatment included cleaning of wood, textile and metal surfaces, removal of corrosion, removal of adhesive stickers and residue, consolidation of wood, application of protective surface coating, dismantlement and lubricating of working mechanisms.
