Leather ammunition belt sewn with leather cord. Small pouch attached to belt, flap would have been secured with small leather tie (now missing) threaded through a hole. Modern leather strip in place of missing buckle. Blue plastic coated wire tied through belt. Corrosion of the ammunition has resulted in corrosion residues on the leather surface and has caused severe deterioration of the leather. Treatment included cleaning of leather surface, removal of corrosion residues, rehydration and application of protective coating
