Flintlock musket. Steel barrel, mechanism and stockplate. Dark varnished wooden stock with brass stud decoration. Decorative silver barrel bands and forward grip with engraved floral design. Various brass soldered repairs to barrel and mechanism. No visible marks or stamps.Treatment included cleaning of wood and metal surfaces, removal of corrosion, removal of adhesive stickers and residue, application of protective surface coating, dismantlement and lubricating of working mechanisms.
