Muzzle loading, double-barrelled percussion cap shotgun. Steel barrel, mechanism and stock plate. Dark varnished carved wooden stock and forward grip. Unworked tree branch has been inserted as a replacement ramrod. Small amount of silver wire wrapped around mechanism. One strap hoop, no strap. Marks: Unregistered stamp on both lockplates. Some stamps including Belgian proof marks visible on underside of barrel when disassembled.

Treatment included cleaning of wood and metal surfaces, removal of corrosion, removal of adhesive stickers and residue, application of protective surface coating, dismantlement and lubricating of working mechanisms.
